Direct Deposit/Payroll Deduction

Direct deposit is the safe easy way to simplify your life!

  • Quick - Your money is electronically transferred into your account and available for use the morning of the transfer date.
  • Reliable - Direct deposit puts money in your account on time, every time. There's no check-hold delay.
  • Convenient - No need to arrange for special deposit or a trip to the credit union when you're away from home.
  • Safe - Deposits are insured for up to $100,000.00.
  • Secure - Worries about lost, stolen or misplaced checks are a thing of the past.
  • Easy - Just contact us and tell us that you want direct deposit. Deposits can include Social Security, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Veterans Affairs, Tax refund deposits, child support, regular payroll income, etc.

Direct Deposit -Government Benefits

If you currently receive government benefits or you are due to begin receiving government benefits, you can designate your credit union account to receive your deposit. To begin this process, visiting www.godirect.org or call 800-333-1795.

Direct Deposit - Employer

You can choose to deposit all of your payroll into your credit union account. We can then set up disbursements to your other credit union accounts such as a Christmas or vacation club or share draft accounts. You can obtain and complete the necessary paperwork from your employer or by stopping by the credit union.

Payroll Deduction

If you like, you can choose to have only a portion of your deposit come into the credit union. Then, if you like, we can disburse to your other credit union accounts such as a Christmas or vacation club or share draft account. You can obtain and complete the necessary paperwork from your employer or by stopping by the credit union.

IRS Tax Refund

To arrange for direct deposit of your IRS tax refund, simply complete the information on your IRS Form 1040 in the section labeled "Refund". You'll need MPO's routing number which is 221976667 and your account number.*

*Refunds of your IRS Tax refund may be deposited to your share or share draft account. Any automated tax payments to the local, city or federal government can only be initiated from share draft accounts. If you require a tax payment to come from your share account, you may come into the credit union and request the check payable from your share account to the governing authority.
